01 Who we are
Rough Cut AR is a plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro that helps editors cut Arabic content. This policy explains what we collect through roughcutar.com and the waitlist, and what the plugin will collect after launch.
02 What we collect
Waitlist (now)
- Your email address
- Your name, if you give it
- What you edit and your choices (beta, Gaming Space)
- Your approximate country; we keep the country only, not your IP address
The plugin (after launch)
- Your name and email from the Google or Microsoft account you sign in with
- A hashed device fingerprint and technical details (PC name, CPU, graphics card, Windows and plugin version) to protect the license
- We never upload your video or audio files to our servers
- Your card details never reach us: payment happens on Paymob’s page
03 Why we collect it
To email you at launch, pick beta testers, and run the license and protect it from unauthorised use. We show no ads and never sell your data.
04 Where it is stored
The site and the waitlist live on Cloudflare. After launch, account and license data live on our own license server. We keep waitlist data until launch or until you ask us to delete it.
05 Who we share it with
Only with the providers we need to run the service (hosting, email delivery, Paymob when you buy), and only as much as they need.
06 Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion at any time at privacy@roughcutar.com, and every email from us has a one-click unsubscribe link.
07 Cookies
We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the site from attacks and bots.
